Do I Need Bonjour on both Windows and Mac

I'm trying to set up Bonjour to print from from Windows 7 to a Canon Printer connected by USB to my Mac. I've installed on the Windows machine. Do I also need to install Bonjour on the Mac? What else do I need to do? Is there a step by step guide anywhere?
